- The Pickled Hutch is my store in San Mateo offering vintage and vintage inspired items for home, garden and gifts. Alfie's my little poodle sidekick. I now understand what "to find something to do for work that you love means you'll never work another day in your life" means. I love my store, decorating, the hunt for unique merchandise, chasing after Alfie and the challenge of meeting whatever curve balls this life has to throw.

My dearest friend! How Did you KNOW ?.... I have been on a search for old skeleton keys...and did you hear me squeal all the way from Tennessee?? Oh, and the door knob photo holder is absolutely perfect holding a small b & w photo of my grandma. I will post pics soon, but I wanted you to know just how much you made my day...I had been gardening all morning, and had come in to cool off when it came...
